Activities Catalog

Q. How much does the Activities Catalog cost?

A. $90 for the Full Catalog and $10 for the Sample Pack

 

Q. How were the activities developed?

A. For over 20 years, each of the activities included in this catalog have been developed or adapted by Facilitators delivering the Project SUCCESS monthly curriculum.

 

Q. Where will I find the activities once I have purchased them?

A. Once the Activity Catalog or the Sample Pack have been purchased, an email will be sent confirming the purchase. At that point, if you have not yet registered, then you will be required to register on our site. Registration can be reached by clicking the button on the top right corner of the home page. Within 48 hours, a second email will be sent confirming that the activities are now in “My Library”. Once you have registered and logged in, My Library can be reached by clicking the button in the top right corner of the any page.

 

Q. What is the Sample Pack?

A. The Sample Pack is a collect of 5 activities from the Activities Catalog.

 

Q. Who should use these activities?

A. Although these activities were originally developed or adapted for the use in the classroom setting for middle and high school student, they have proven successful be used by teachers, facilitators and other youth workers in a variety of environments with a variety of age groups.

 

Q. Do I need to be certified in the Project SUCCESS Curriculum to effectively use these activities?

A. The activities in the catalog do not require the Project SUCCESS Curriculum, but more activities will be made available to those who are certified.

Training and Development

Q. How much do these trainings cost?

A. The Half-Day Training costs $2000 plus travel costs and the Full-Day Training costs $3500 plus travel.

Q. Who are these trainings developed for?

A. Any educator or youth worker who works with groups of students.

 

Q. Who are the trainers?

A. Our trainers are senior members of the Project SUCCESS staff who have spent at least 8 years in the classroom using the Project SUCCESS Curriculum. See staff page to meet our trainers and read their bios. 

 

Q. How were these trainings developed?

A. These training were conceived as a shortened version of the training we provide our Facilitators who utilize the Project SUCCESS curriculum in the classroom.

 

Q. What is the ideal group size for training?

A. 15 to 20 participants

 

Q. Can these trainings be customized?

A. If your group has specific areas, strategies or themes they are interested in exploring through our training, we can tailor the selection of activities and discussions to try and meet those specific needs.

 

Q. What is I have a group larger than 20?

A. We can accommodate a larger group by adding another trainer, which will increase the cost of the training ($1000 per trainer for Half-day Training and $1750 for Full Day Training).

Project SUCCESS

Q. Where and when was Project SUCCESS founded?

A. Project SUCCESS was founded in Minneapolis, MN in 1994, in partnership with North High School, founding funding partner LifeTouch, and founding theater partner The Guthrie Theater.

 

Q. What does Project SUCCESS do?

A. Project SUCCESS motivates and inspires young people to dream about their futures, helps them take steps to get there, and gives them the tools they need to achieve their goals.

Our program activities begin in 6th grade and serve students continuously through 12th grade. We help students build life-skills, supportive relationships, grit, confidence, motivation, and graduate with plans for their futures.
